Care That Feels Like Family

Caring for Seniors Is Our Passion at Always There Health Care.

We love getting to know each individual, listening to their stories, and the wisdom and knowledge they impart to us.

It’s our great honor to serve older adults with the dignity and respect they deserve, through a full range of services including:

We begin by offering a free in-home consultation, during which we carefully listen to specific concerns a senior is facing.

We then create a personal care plan to address those needs, and recommend any additional community resources that may be helpful.

Whatever challenges life throws your way, we will do whatever it takes to help you overcome them.

Anyone who needs additional assistance to remain independent at home is an ideal client for in-home care services. While care services are sometimes needed following a return home after surgery, other times the signs that help at home is needed are subtle.

If you notice a decline in an older loved one’s ability to care of himself/herself, including unclean clothing, a lack of personal hygiene, forgetting to take medications, not eating, missing appointments, unpaid bills, or an unkempt house, home care can help. Absolutely. We care for our clients wherever they call “home.” This includes residential homes, nursing homes, assisted and independent living, and even sometimes in the hospital.

Depending on the services needed, we can often start the same day or within 24 hours of the initial call.

Each year our caregivers have 12 mandatory training sessions to complete in order to stay in compliance. These educational units are a combination of written articles, videos, and online training with a quiz. Training covers a variety of topics, including basic nutrition and hydration, infection control in home care, maintaining confidentiality, and many more.

We are excited to share the opening of our Home Health Aide Course for our CNAs in response to their need to continue their education.

Yes, we follow the guidelines of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment regarding our insurance and screening employees.

First, our caregivers are interviewed to determine if they are a good fit for our company. If candidates pass the initial interview, we then conduct background checks nationally and with the State of Kansas. Reference checks are also completed during this process. The applicant must also complete  a competency evaluation and an in-service “Understanding Coronavirus” – which deals with infection control.

Our clients and caregivers have access to us 24 hours per day, 7 days per week by calling (913) 942-2900. Our on-call staff is local, not a staffing agency, and provides amazing customer services after hours.

If the regularly scheduled caregiver is unable to work, we will assign another qualified caregiver with the necessary skills to help the client.
